Trip to the North of Maldives

Nazy

In the heart of Maldives, where turquoise waters gleam,
I set forth on a journey, a traveler's dream.
Hoarafushi, the urban gem, vibrant and bold,
Its streets tell tales of stories, ancient and untold.

I sailed to Ihavandhoo, where Malik fish reign,
A bounty from the ocean, a livelihood to sustain.
Maarandhoo, with shores where friendships grew,
My dear friend's haven, where skies are always blue.

Thakandhoo, with history etched in a tomb,
A national hero rests, dispelling all gloom.
Dhidhdhoo, a thriving island, a beacon so bright,
In its progress and promise, a guiding light.

Vashafaru, with a lagoon vast and grand,
Nature's masterpiece, a scene so unplanned.
Muraidhoo, where bananas sway in the breeze,
A land of plenty, a haven of ease.

Utheem, the motherland of heroes so true,
Whose valor and sacrifice forever imbue.
Molhadhoo, a larger island, a tranquil retreat,
With fewer souls, where solace and nature meet.

Thurakuru, the north's proud outpost,
Isolated and serene, where time is almost lost.
Maldives, a mosaic of islands unique,
Each with a story, each with mystique.

From the urban rhythms to historic lore,
In this archipelago, a tale unfolds, and more.
As I journeyed through this paradise untold,
The Maldivian spirit, forever in my heart, enfolde
